can't stop at three!

When I first sat down to write this blog today, I really didn't remember much of anything eventful happening...then, as I started to record the three happiest things that I could remember, I figured I should include a photo of one of these things to keep the blog a touch more amusing (we love our visuals, don't we?).

But as I began uploading the latest pics from my camera, I saw that there were MORE things from this day (shame on me for forgetting about them!) that just couldn't be left out, and were also just as worthy as what I had already written! So, today, there are extras. Enjoy :)

Well, the video down there is definitely my #1.

I freakin' love that he's learning which toy is which, and especially, towards the end, his "singing"!

2. My son went to the post office for me and picked up our mail: Birthday surprises for both of us!

3. Awe, T is also becoming quite the popular little man...two friends have come over today to see if he can hang out... :)

4. I woke up to this outside my bedroom door on the floor:

...at first, I'm thinking, okay, this is one of those "kiss Mom's butt as much as possible" things, so he would get his Kindle back. But when he came home, and I thanked him for making my day start out so lovely with such a sweet note, his reply was, "Well, I thought you needed that after the last two days, because I know you've been kinda sad, Mom."
AWE, BUNNY!!!!

5. This morning, I realized that Dutch starts wagging his tail the moment I show signs of being awake. If I just lay there, he continues to be still, but if I start moving and stretching or yawning, his tail begins a-waggin', and he picks up his head and looks at me with some kind of impatience and excitement, almost as if the most magical words I could utter to him were, "well, come on! C'mere!" And when I do, he jumps up and positions himself in such a way that he is curled up in my arms, shoulders, and belly all at one time. Continually wagging that big ol' tail of his *thump thump thump*.

Three (or however many) happies for you?
