1. I took my son and dog on a long walk for no reason...the conversations and "training lessons" on the way made it WAY more worthwhile than I would have EVER expected...
2. My son kisses me in public. He's 12 years old, and will take my hand as though I'm royalty, and kiss it while looking into my eyes. This never ceases to make me blush and giggle...AND want to give the same treatment back to him...for he IS my lil prince, so I do. It's fun, especially when passers-by notice and verbalize how AWESOME it is...:D
3. My boy...again...his willingness to help: While making some curry rice & beans w/cauliflower, I realized that (even though I'm chopping up some fresh garlic) I'm out of garlic powder, a.k.a. the easy stuff, I have to ask T, "Little man, can you run to the store for me and pick up some Garlic Powder?"..."Yeah, totally, Mom!" Ten minutes later, my herb/spice rack has been restored! Btw, dinner turned out exceptionally well, and there are leftovers!Bonus? Little man also brought the returnables to the redemption center down the road, too! That was a chore I've been procrastinating on...SO, thank you, little man, for taking care of the monotonous for me! I'm a VERY blessed mom...even though I don't know WHY...but it's a true story.
