2. Baking baking baking!

Homemade whole wheat bread from this AMAZING recipe book. I LOVE this book! They put out a new one each year, to raise money during the holidays, and this was the first one I've ever gotten a hold of! I alter the French bread recipe, though...it needs more kneading and more yeast than what's called for because I use a lot of whole wheat flour.

My son kept complaining about how we have no "snacks" in the house. HELLOOOOoooo! Snacks in the house = Mommy eats them all day! "T, you KNOW why we don't have any snacks, dude."..."Why, Mom?"..."Because I've EATEN them all while you're at school!"..."What the heck, mom! *dramatic sigh*" (true story)
So I made Granola Chunks. A healthy snack we can both enjoy, and I won't eat them all because we're BROKE, and can't afford anymore food! :D
3. Took a couple walks throughout the day: one with Dutch to give him (and me) some exercise, and another without him so I could pick up our recently fixed bike tires! YAY! Our landing has looked like a workshop for the last few days while we waited on the repairs...
