I seem to find so many happy things in a day...someone even told me that I should do five happy things. I told them, nope, the whole point is that you start thinking about more happy things, so you realize that you have so many things to be happy about. So it stays at three, but you are allowed "bonus happy things" to an infinite measure. :D

1. With the help of Google and the Singer website, I fixed my sewing machine! This is a SUPER HAPPY THING! The canopy bed that my dog accidentally ripped down two weeks ago is now back up, improved with darker purple curtains, so I can sleep without a pillowcase over my eyes, and looks absolutely fabulous! Pics to come, I promise.

2. I made completely vegan muffins and tortillas from scratch today. I ate one of the muffins (YUM), but the rest are for the bake sale on Saturday to raise money for the Dog Park. The tortillas are for dinner: We'll use them to wrap veggie protein crumbles (similar to ground beef, but made from vegetable proteins) flavored with fajita seasoning, fresh cubanello peppers and onions. It's amazing how little food we have right now, yet we are able to find recipes that suit our nutritional needs as well as our cravings!

3. My son got his report card today and again, he made honor roll! What blows me away, is that at his old school, the gym teacher was such a miserable B*tch, that she always gave him a low grade, even though he's super athletic, and a star on the soccer team. She was always making him "sit out" of an activity for the most ridiculous reasons! His gym teacher now actually writes, "cooperative, gets along well with others, is a team player, and listens to instructions." I feel like mailing a copy to his old gym teacher. She was so bad, that we had a very inappropriate nickname for her. Her last name was Dieffenbach...just imagine what rhymes with the last syllable of that name, will you? LOL.
