Voicemail, Greekness, & curtains.

Yesterday was my birthday so I took a day off. Plus I'm in a rough patch right now so it isn't an easy thing to find three things to be happy about. I'm sure you all have those days, too.

BUT, This blog is solely for THREE HAPPY THINGS, so here we go - a combination of today so far, and what "happy" I could dig out of yesterday.

1. My good good friend, leaving a message on my phone of her singing a jolly and uplifting version of "Happy Birthday." *giggle*

2. My landlady brought down treats from a Greek market in Boston. She works in the city and remembered my birthday as well as my LOVE of anything Greek. Here's a sampling of the nomnoms:

3. I made a very difficult phone call, which resulted in a calmer outlook, as well as the motivation to at least fix the part of my canopy bed that's been hanging there, bugging the crap outta me, for a week now.

Your turn! Care to share?

    1. AND HEY! You also got yourself a Google account! Sweet!

(the canopy bed is just 4 eye screws with drywall mounts to reinforce them stuck into the ceiling at each corner of the bed - then I strung 20 lb fishing line around while hanging up curtains, and then another layer of line and curtains to fancy-shmancy it up a lil bit. Its in no way complete, but it's getting there...kinda like you and your move~
