2. A "date with my son" a.k.a. spaghetti dinner and watching Voyage of the Dawn Treader on the couch. That was by far my favorite Narnia movie. It was like Pirates of the Caribbean meets Star Wars meets Alice in Wonderland. Awesome.
3. Realizing that every day is like a holiday with my son, after a friend asked me if we had any plans for Easter. We have no car, we aren't religious, we're afraid to eat meat lately so we didn't plan an extravagant ham dinner, and we don't know many people in the area, so, no plans. But, we enjoyed quality time, had some peace & quiet, and made fun out of the little things. And we do that last one every day! So, we're pretty blessed to be such an awesome duo (trio if you count Dutch).
BONUS: We are going to VERMONT IN LESS THAN 5 DAYS! WE CANNOT WAIT! This is going to be the longest week of my life.
**EDIT: I was so so so excited about going to VT, that I forgot about the week before April vacation. So actually, I won't be there for about 12 days. FAIL. So its going to be the longest [almost] TWO weeks of my life. ~facepalm~ /END EDIT**
And you?

Rachel, I'm so glad you had a nice dinner...does she still live in the same house that I'm familiar with? I hope so- it was always so beautiful and clean...so much history and class to it..you should photograph it on a good day and (after watermarking all the photos, of course) see if one of the blogs like Martha Stewart, Better Homes and Gardens, etc, would want to feature it. It's beautiful (and I really hope its still HERS!).
